Calling All Falcons,

"The Sleds Are Coming!" event is Sunday, February 9, Lake Forest College (LFC), 1:30 - 3:30 p.m., to honor JJ O'Connor and showcase the GLASA Falcons Sled Hockey Team. This is a free community event.

All Falcons - players, families and friends who are not competing elsewhere - please assemble in the LFC Sports & Recreation Center (SRC) adjacent to the rink to join the mass of spectators who will parade into the rink together shortly before 2 p.m.  All participants will earn community service hours for the time spent.

House teams, please wear white jerseys or white hockey apparel - Travel teams, please wear red game jerseys. All spectators will sit in a designated area to honor JJ and cheer for their respective team (Red vs White). CLick to see JJ's bio and a poster with more details about the event.

The following silent/live auction items will be offered at the event:

1.  2013-14 Autographed Chicago Blackhawk Red Game Jersey - includes many of the 2013 Stanley Cup Champions. Opening Bid is secured at $600.00. ($50.00 minimum bid increments).  Donated by the Chicago Blackhawks.

2.  Framed 8 X 10 Autographed Photo - #65 Andrew Shaw - 2013 Stanley Cup Champion - the Blackhawks newest rising star! - Opening Bid is secured at $150.00 ($20.00 minimum bid increments).  Donated by the Chicago Blackhawks.

3.  Autographed Puck in Protective Case - #50 Corey Crawford  - 2013 Stanley Cup Champion - Opening Bid is secured at $100.00  ($10 minimum bid increments).  Donated by the Chicago Blackhawks.

4.  4 Penthouse Alumni Box Tickets - Chicago Blackhawks vs Columbus Blue Jackets at the United Center - enjoy the game with former Blackhawk players in the privacy of the Alumni Penthouse Box! - Opening Bid secured at $600.00 ($25.00 minimum increment).  Donated by the Chicago Blackhawks Alumni Association.
