Calling All Falcons - Join Us at Lake Bluff's July 4th Parade

2008_parade_large

All House League and Travel Players are encouraged to come and have some fun! Rollerskate (or walk) along the parade route, passing out candy, and showing everyone what an awesome time we Falcons have playing the great game of hockey!

TIME AND PLACE DETAILS:
The parade starts at 10:00 on Saturday, July 4th. It typically takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours to complete the entire route. Families are welcome to meet prior to the parade at the Kluchka's (owners of Hot Shot Ice Arena) home, which is conveniently located in the heart of all the pre-parade activities at 131 E Scranton, Lake Bluff, IL 60044.

Please be aware of the side streets closing at 9:00 a.m., if you need to drop off your child before finding a place to park. It is recommended that folks park in the Lake Bluff train station and walk two blocks east to the Kluchka's home.

COME PREPARED:
Show your Falcons colors by wearing your home or away jerseys, or t-shirts, hats etc. We will have a truck pulling our float that offers some storage for you to bring your own drinks to have along the route.

It is recommended that children wear their bike or rollerblade helmets if they plan on skating. We could also use a few parent volunteers to help keep the kids contained and walk with us in the parade as well - It's a lot of fun for all members of the Falcons Family!
