Falcons Hockey Association

Falcons Hockey Association has partnered with Highland Park District to offer an
exciting opportunity to adverting on the dasher boards at Centennial Ice
Arena. The ads will be approximately 3FT x 8FT in size and be viewed by over
500,000 people annually. The cost is $2,000 for a year and includes the cost of
printing the ad and installing it on the dasher board. All proceeds will
benefit the Falcon Hockey Association and Highland Park District.

The number of advertisement boards are limited so act quicly and don't miss out
on this wonderful opportunity to have your company's logo viewed by thousand of
local residents while supporting youth hockey.

The Falcons are pleased to introduce the new and improved Ad book, which allows all families the opportunity to sell ads on behalf of the Falcons and share in the ad revenue. 

For EACH ad sold according to the rates that have been determined by the Falcons Hockey Association (see ad rate sheet), the family selling the ad will receive 70% of the ad revenue and the Falcons will receive 30% of the ad revenue. For example, a $250 ad sold (1 full page) will generate: $175/family and $75/FHA. The Falcons will cover all printing costs associated with the creation of the Ad Book.

Special placement requests (inside front cover, inside back cover, back cover or center placement) are sold on a first come, first served basis. Any discounts, combined ads or special services must be cleared with the VP of Fundraising, Suzanne Valentine, prior to acceptance of ad revenue.  

Any family that sells an ad to a company will “own” that company through the next hockey season – and no one may solicit that company for the purposes of placing an ad or generating ad revenue during that time. If, after that period, the company chooses to place an ad, all ad revenue will go to the family who pursued and obtained ad placement after the period of 1 year had elapsed.  

All ad artwork must be: print quality (hi-resolution), b/w (except back cover, which is 4 color), in the any of the following digital formats: In Design, Photo Shop, .jpeg, or Print Quality PDF. Samples of past ads are available upon request for ideas and consideration. Payment and artwork MUST be submitted to AdBook@falconshockey.org together by November 15, 2011. Publication date is early December.

Please note that FHA reserves the right to reject any and all ads that are inappropriate for the target family audience. 

All ad revenue is to be credited towards existing Falcon players in the 2011-2012 season. All registration fees are due at the time of travel or house deadlines and we will calculate the total amount credited once the November 15 deadline has passed – and issue checks once ad revenue has been totaled. 

This program is intended ONLY for Falcons families as a means to offset fees – and is not intended for anyone outside the organization. All ads for the Falcons Ad Book are subject to Executive Board overview and any ads deemed inappropriate will be subject to refusal for inclusion in the 2011-2012 Ad Book.
