Coaches Wagner and Bradley Bring Home PeeWee B Championship

On May 18th, Falcons PeeWee #1 NSYHL captured the PeeWee B title at the Big Bear Dragon's Lair tournament in Darien, defeating Joliet 5-2 in the championship game. Mae Olshansky was named the game's MVP for recording three assists, two of which resulted in goals by Jayson Rebmann. Also scoring for the Falcons were Jake Faulkner, Joe Mattson, and Ryan Okmin. The win avenged the team's only loss in the round-robin section of the tournament.

Strong goaltending by Seth Miller was a key to the team's tournament success, as he gave up an average of only one goal per game. The leading Falcons goal scorer for the tournament was Rafael Beaudoin with six tallies. Other multiple-goal scorers were Rebmann, Okmin, Faulkner, and Spencer Lidov. The team defeated two Wilmette teams and a Blackbirds team during the round robin.

Other team members are Will Brennan, Jack Halloran, Dilan Jagadeesh, Coel Morcott, Kyle Marusich, Justin Klonoski, and Matt Nicholson. Special thanks to Falcons House Director Dave Bradley for providing valuable coaching assistance to Head Coach Mike Wagner during a busy tournament weekend.
