Congratulations to the Squirt Central States Team on winning the Squirt AA State Championship. The team beat Glenview 8-2 in the finals on Sunday afternoon. The two goals that were scored yesterday were the only two scored on the team in the entire tournament. This team truly had a special year. They finished the year with a record vs. AA teams of 32-0. They had a 254 goals for and 18 goals against season at AA. Their overall record was 58-6-1. They were the number one ranked AA team in the country by Myhockeyrankings.com from the start of the season until the end of the season. In addition, they won the St. Louis AAA Super Series, finished second in the elite division of the AAA Bauer invitational and finished second in the elite division of the AAA Warrior Invitational. They are currently ranked 6th in the AAA division of the myhockey rankings. The coaching staff of Ryan Taylor, Jeff DeFrancesca and Mike Sondag did an excellent job with the boys. Congrats boys on a truly remarkable season.
