The Squirt 2002 Elite Team beat the Squirt CSDHL Sabres in convincing fashion, 3-0 in the 3rd/4th Place State Final Game to take home the 3rd Place State Banner at the Leafs Centre. This game capped an impressive Blackhawk Cup State Tournament showing where the team went 3-1, beating the #2 seeded Squirt CSDHL Bruins (4-0), #3 seeded Squirt CSDHL Ice Dogs (6-3) and #4 Seeded Sabres (3-0) by 3 or more goals. The Squirt 2002 Elite Team will start its bid for a NIHL Elite Championship the weekend of March 16, 2012.
